2000 Plan Why do people need legal Services? The LawPolicy® Plan 2000 affords an individual and his/her immediate family the opportunity to have their own attorney on retainer for a single yearly subscription cost which decreases in the second and subsequent years. The Plan includes a free Will for all adults living in the same residence as the member and updates as often as needed for as long as the member remains in the LawPolicy Plan at no additional cost. In addition to Wills, the LawPolicy Plan provides other benefits such as unlimited number of legal consultation on any matter with an attorney, additional discounts off of the usual credit union discounted rate, review of documents up to 4 pages, letters on behalf of the member to others when deemed legally appropriate all at no additional cost. The advantage having a lawyer on retainer is that if a crisis or emergency arises you do not need to search for a lawyer in the telephone book. The law firm will already have a file containing the basic information concerning those covered under the Plan. All those covered under the LawPolicy® 2000 Plan will have the services of the many lawyers in the Member Legal Service Network (MLSN).
