MEMBER LEGAL
SERVICES NETWORK LAWYER NETWORK The lawyer network has been developing since 1976 to better serve members of the Credit Unions in the Greater Delaware Valley (GDV) area encompassing South Jersey, Southeastern Pennsylvania and the state of Delaware. The Network known as the Member Legal Service Network (MSLN) is made up of attorneys who practice in various areas of the law and whose offices are located in PA, NJ, and DE to better serve members. When members have a legal question or concern, they may call the Law Offices of James W. Pearson, Jr., Administrator of the Legal Care Plan, (Plan Administrator) and if an appointment is necessary, one will be made, and if legal services are requested, James W. Pearson, Jr. with either provide the services personally or refer the member to an appropriate attorney in the Network considering area of practice and location. The plan offers an initial free consultation on any new matter as well as reduced fees in most cases. To promote quality assurance, a member with a legal question, concern or complaint with a Network attorney may call the Plan Administrator, James W. Pearson, Jr. at 1-610-566-2666 to discuss the matter. The Plan Administrator, will look into the matter and attempt to have it resolved to the satisfaction of the member/client. In the event there are ethical or legal complaints, the member will be given information on how to file a complaint with the Disciplinary Board in the area which has jurisdiction over the attorney involved. The Credit Union is not responsible or liable for the legal services rendered to the member nor is it responsible for payment of legal fees to the attorney. All services and communications between the member and the lawyer are confidential and protected from disclosure by the attorney/client privilege; there can be no disclosure of any such matter without the documented permission of the member.
